Indian Dancer in White
I took an assignment to photograph Indian dancers for promotional purposes. I ordered the new Canon 550 EX flash, which allowed sync speeds above my normal sync of 1/200 second but didn’t get it in time for the shoot, so I know the shutter speeds on these are 1/200 second. I had to make an announcement to the crowd about what I was doing because flash photography was prohibited. The images were used as promotional prints and as a cover cutout one year for a visitors’ magazine.
